Good Practice Visits & Case Studies
In 2024, all 8 of the Rural Support Networks jointly carried out 2 Surveys

(2) Survey of our Membership Group's Needs.
A snapshot of the key findings are below:

Study Visits to Brantry BARD & Bawn Hall

On Friday 15th September 2023 COSTA and CWSAN
teamed up to provide a Good Practice Study Visit for the Mid Ulster area

involving two very local Community organisations from both sides of the traditional political and cultural divide.
The Study Visit had two excellent examples of highly successful Groups in the Aughnacloy area:
Brantry BARD (Brantry Area Rural Development) and Bawn Development Association.
The Visits were excellent and provided very warm welcomes and hospitality.

Over 35 people attended the visits in total.  COSTA and CWSAN sincerely thank both groups for kindly hosting the event and all the volunteers for their hard work in making the event so enjoyable and educational.

 “What an inspirational day!”
“Thank you to the organisers and hosts.”

The Good Practice Visit viewed the fabulous facilities funded under the NI Rural Development Programme 2014 - 2020 via Mid Ulster Rural Development Local Action Group.

The project was also match funded by the NI Housing Executive and Mid Ulster District Council.
Hall Location: Beside Upper Clonaneese Presbyterian Church, 4 Clontyclevin Road, Dungannon, BT70 1SE.
