Rural Community Development Support Service (RCDSS)
COSTA delivers the Rural Community Development Support Service (RCDSS) in the Dungannon & South Tyrone area of Mid Ulster District (sub-contracted under CWSAN).
The Rural Community Development Support Service is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Environment & Rural Affairs (DAERA) - Tackling Rural Poverty & Social Isolation Programme (TRPSI).
COSTA assists local community groups through a wide range of support services including: training, facilitation, access, information, brokerage, consultation and assistance tailored to individual group needs.
‘Sustaining Local Communities’
Aims under the RCDSS (1 Oct 2021 - 31 March 2025) are:
* Supporting Community Planning.
* Supporting Vulnerable and Isolated rural People.
* Supporting Economic & Social Sustainability of Rural Villages.
* Supporting Marginalised Minority Communities in rural border areas.
COSTA provides on-going practical community development support - responsive to YOUR local groups needs.
